March 29th 2012

Aresa Shipyard participated in the Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition & Conference (DIMDEX 2012) taking place in Doha from 26 to 28 March, which gathered more than 164 exhibitors from over 25 countries. The company showed its specialized boats security and defence to the more than 76 civilian and military delegations that visited the fair.

"Qatar is the gateway to the Persian Gulf and the Arab Emirates, thus representing a very important market in which we are expanding thanks to our strong trade ties," said Oriol López, CEO of Aresa Shipyard, who has assured that the company will open a sales office in Qatar in the near future.

Inaugurated by Prince Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, this new edition of DIMDEX has offered a prominent place to ribs and fast patrol vessels, one of the fields that Aresa Shipyardl is leading.
